Our Story
Founded in 2024, La Maison des Chapeaux de Gaston (Gaston Hattery) emerged from a passion born out of necessity. During the Covid pandemic, we started wearing affordable stylish hats because we couldn't get haircuts. What began as a necessity soon transformed into a love for hats as an essential part of our daily wardrobe. We expanded our collection from spring hats and summer hats to include fall and winter hats as well. Each hat brought a fresh look and a new attitude.
At La Maison des Chapeaux de Gaston, we believe that hats are more than just an accessory—they're a way to express yourself and show the world who you are. That's why we are passionate about hats for every occasion and everything they represent: the adventure and fun that life can bring. As our motto says...

Our Craft
At Gaston Hattery, our work transcends simple decoration; we specialize in crafting affordable stylish hats that transform cowboy hats, western hats, ranchers, and fedoras into distinctive pieces rich in character, personality, and unique stories.
Our customization process encompasses custom crown and brim shaping, burning, branding, distressing, hand stitching, and detailed finishing work. We utilize carefully selected materials such as vintage fabrics, leather, chains, feathers, beads, pins, jewelry, and other up-cycled or one-of-a-kind accents, making our hats suitable for every occasion.
We take particular delight in working with vintage and repurposed materials, as they infuse each design with a sense of history and individuality that cannot be replicated. The beauty of our hats is that no two need to look alike, and that is precisely the concept we embrace.
Gaston Hattery extends this creative journey directly to our customers through our Hat Bar experiences in Dallas–Fort Worth and North Texas. Guests can select a hat, choose their favorite accents, and collaborate with us to craft something uniquely their own.
Whether reshaping an existing cowboy hat or designing a completely customized piece, our objective is clear: to create hats that feel personal, distinctive, and unmistakably Gaston Hattery, akin to the spirit of La Maison des Chapeaux.
